XXX- il ritorno di Xander Cage di D. J. Caruso Recensione – XXX : The Return Of Xander Cage Re

Devo essere sincero, ho odiato questo film e ora vi spiego per quale motivo. xXx – Il ritorno di Xander Cage (xXx: Return of Xander Cage) è un film del 2017 diretto da D. J. Caruso, con protagonista Vin Diesel. La pellicola è il terzo capitolo della serie, iniziata nel 2002 con xXx, bel film di Rob Cohen, in cui Vin Diesel recitava accanto alla nostra Asia Argento, e proseguita nel 2005 con xXx 2: The Next Level, parecchio brutto, Diesel non recitò in quel film, prese il posto del protagonista il rapper Ice Cube, poichè stando alla trama Xander Cage (Diesel) avrebbe dovuto essere morto. Ovviamente non è così, per chi ha amato XXX questa doveva essere un’ottima notizia, invece non lo è, perchè questo è sicuramente uno dei peggiori film visti fino ad ora. La trama di questo pattume cinematografico è molto semplice : Xander Cage, amante degli sport estremi, creduto morto da tempo, ritorna dal suo esilio volontario e viene reclutato dalla CIA per catturare Xiang e recuperare un’arma potente conosciuta come “vaso di Pandora”, che può controllare i satelliti e bypassare ogni codice di sicurezza. Xander quindi mette su una squadra fidata e si ritrova coinvolto in una cospirazione mortale di corruzione tra i governi del mondo, tra cui gli addetti ai lavori del suo paese.Il film avrebbe potuto essere perlomeno apprezzabile, parlo del punto di vista tecnico, quindi effetti speciali, montaggio, inquadrature ecc.. purtroppo anche su questo piano il film si è rivelato essere pessimo. Il film parte con dei bei titoli di testa, letto il nome del regista (D, J. Caruso) sono partito bene, poichè lo ricordavo per il suo notevole film da regista intitolato “Disturbia” teen movie thriller/horror che voleva omaggiare niente di meno che Alfred Hitchcock. Ma purtroppo D. J Caruso non è riuscito a fare lo stesso lavoro degno anche qui, mi spiego, il film è diretto molto male, non c’è un momento che sia più o meno logico, non c’è un vero e proprio senso alla fine del film, e per di più questo terzo capitolo di XXX non sembra nemmeno per una volta prendersi sul serio. Insomma come parodia molto bene, le risate scappano e anche tante volte, peccato che questa non sia una parodia. In sceneggiatura F. Scott Frazier fa la stessa cosa, scrive una sceneggiatura pessima, fatta di massime e frasi d’effetto che anziché stupire annoiano, passaggi tra Diesel e altri personaggi al limite della logicità, insomma la regia e la sceneggiatura in questo film si rivelano dopo nemmeno dieci minuti assolutamente inutili, se non inesistenti. Vin Diesel è sempre uguale dall’inizio alla fine, sembra stanco e sembra non prendere sul serio il personaggio e il film intero, ciò detto da uno che ama Vin Diesel. Dal punto di vista effettistico non è niente di che, anzi, certe scene sono state realizzate con una CGI pessima, scappano le risate per esempio nella scena in cui Xander Cage va sott’acqua con la moto per poi risalire e riscendere per un mucchio di volte, che delfini scansatevi. Insomma tutto molto senza senso, mi sono annoiato a morte, il film è terribile, il finale scontato, un cattivo/a terribile ed interpretato terribilmente. Unica nota positiva si rivela essere colui che ha realizzato i titoli di testa e di coda… davvero sorprendenti. Samuel L Jackson ha perso la ragione, recita quindi in questo film in maniera pessima, potremmo dire che non recita, le sue battute sono qualcosa di agghiacciante, e ricordano le sceneggiature delle peggiori telenovele, almeno quelle un senso preciso lo hanno (alcune). La scena iniziale in cui vediamo il personaggio di Samuel L Jackson in un ristorante con Neymar può far capire come sarà tutto il resto del film .. riassumibile in parola : IGNORANZA. Devo precise un’ultima cosa, a me l’ignoranza nei film piace, mai prendersi troppo sul serio, un po’ di leggerezza e ignoranza ci sta sempre bene, non stona mai, ma quando diventa troppa il film rischia di sprofondare e diventare il nulla, qui purtroppo è capitato.

The film begins with some nice headlines, read the name of the director (D, J. Caruso) are a good start, as I remembered for his remarkable directorial film called “Disturbia” teen movie thriller / horror that he wanted to pay homage to nothing unless Alfred Hitchcock. But unfortunately D. From the point of view effettistico is nothing that, indeed, certain scenes were made using a CGI bad, escaping laughter for example in the scene where Xander Cage goes underwater with the bike and then up and back down to a bunch of sometimes, that scansatevi dolphins. In short, all very senseless, I am bored to death, the film is terrible, the final granted, a bad / a terrible and performed terribly. The only positive note is revealed to be the one who has created the opening credits and closing credits … truly amazing. Samuel L. Jackson has lost his mind, says so in that in a bad movie, we could say that not acting, his jokes are something chilling and reminiscent of the worst screenplays telenovelas, at least those who have a precise meaning (some). The opening scene in which we see the character of Samuel L. Jackson in a restaurant with Neymar can make people understand how will the rest of the movie .. summed up in the word: IGNORANCE. I have to clear one more thing, to me the ignorance in movies like, never taking itself too seriously, a bit ‘of lightness and ignorance there is always good, never out of place, but when it becomes too much the film is likely to sink and become the nothing here unfortunately happened.
